Well I ate some chinese food yesterday.

z

I have been playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. It is a game of vast proportions. I understand that my readers may find no interest in mentioning of games. However this is not a game that most people have ever played and or even close to what they know about games.

Let me explain.

Then please comment. Tell me what you think. Try it out if you have a really nice PC, XBOX 360, or a PS 3. It is worth its weight in gold. This is the entire map - magnify the map to see how much there is. I kid you not, this is a very very very big game.

Now on to character ( you make your own) yes everything down to how their jaw looks to what kinda of hair color, if their face is thin or thick, eye color, etc. Please click on this link. click on all of them. I mean you really will be impressed. Including skill sets, abilities, etc.

You can do anything... or very close to it. It is offline, you do not play anyone that is an actual human player, but instead there is over several thousand npc characters that rule cities and or bad guys, etc.

That means if you do not want to do anything besides pick seeds from plants you can. I am not kidding. what you want to be a thief... well you have to find people to buy stolen goods, most merchants don't trade in hot goods. Powerful magic users? You need to get recommendations for city guilds in order to get into the capital mages guild. What you want to be mercenary for hire? No problem. What you want to be a merchant here is a list of people who can help you. What you want to be evil. You want to be a vampire? so on and on and on.
This is just one city - Anvil, it is on the coast. click on it to see the entire size.

Finally I will mention weather, time, morning and night are all in this game.
Please click on the images.

Now that we have proven that I am super geek, with super geek powers... It is off to work for me. Later this evening I will stop on by everyones blog for a quick hello. I understand if no gives a shit about this post... but it is a very fun game and I do enjoy it. Yep... super geek, me.

I have played well over a hundred hours... now mind you. That is almost a year of owning this game. I have never even beaten the games main quest line... there is just THAT much to do. Imagine a movie being that intense. I got my money's worth.

I love the Elder Scrolls games...and the fact that they are so immense is what keeps them interesting, in my opinion. I've never played this one though...

Yes, my post about gaming was a hit! by hit I mean, that 2 people commented and one of them was teasing me. Gamers are that kinda thing… I have met many.

Damn right! I am a gamer. Not one of them who would go to conventions or go on a first date and talk about video games... no instead I would talk about magic the gathering.

Anyhow - Kitten and Aria I am glad that you guys commented on my post. I was thinking ... this is not going to get such rave review is it? Then I thought who am I doing this for? Of course the answer is obvious... that crack head down the street that always want my loose change.

Aria - Try this one (Elder Scrolls 4) out. It is very intense.

Kitten - The game played no part in my MIA from blogging. I just could not think of anything to write about or I was building the star wars model set. Now I will let you figure which one is more true then other.

I will check it out! The only one I have played to date (well, and own) is Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. I really like it a lot. :-)
