Boom, I am back and with a sword. The date above is incorrect. 12/27/07 is when I did this entry.

z

I have been living life, busy, depressed and struggling with many extreme situations on my plate. I am doing better now and am back in the saddle again <---- I do not like that song, too much hair. Well it has been some time, so lets see what has been happening D23's life (I am pretending that you all care)

  • I was at the my local grocery store to get the following
    • Salad stuff
    • Garlic bread
    • Hamburger
  • Was not looking for but found...
    • Ex girl friend
      • Could not give her back
      • She has fallen so far down that she smells...
        • yes I did say smells.
        • She has fallen apart... soo much uglier, wtf happened.
          • Good thing she hugged me
            • Because I would never have use the bath of lye for myself unless this kinda situation arose.
          • Worst part, I hate her for looking like shit. I did not have sympathy, but hate and extreme loathing
    • I Would not release Jess from my side if she was by my side, she was not by my side at the time of the "finding" but when I got home, I was like a freakin foofoo dog.

I watched The Departed with Jess during the last week, literally...

Jess loved it. It was a good movie. How could one not love it.

I also saw The DaVinci Code. It was so goood.

I got an early Christmas present
Assassin's Creed

I am not going to bore you about this, but lets say... holy shit, even if you don't play video games... holy shit. Update: I beat this game, still have more to do though. Extremely great story.

Well that is it for now.

No no no - I was talking about her karma! She's obviously hurt you and anyone who does that deserves to live life ugly and stinky :)

I agree with you, anyone who hurts Demon does deserve that :) I can also verify that the game does kick some major ass, the storyline is incredible and the graphics are breathtaking. Another game that I think kicks ass, Oblivion :)

Was your ex a bitch to you? I should probably read back posts if you've written about her. I'm sorry you had to smell her from up close.

I loved the DaVinci code and think that movie did a great job of putting in all the essentials from the book.

I think it's cool running into the ex...especially when they look like shit :)

The Departed = fantastic.

DaVinchi Code = pretty good. Book was better per usual.

The Assassin = I almost bought this the other day. The price scared me away, but it is something I will purchase one of these days. I can't wait to check it out!

I've been pretty down lately too. Just waiting for that moment when everything is okay again. Hope it comes to you sooner rather than later.

Missed you!

Jess-

I have never played Oblivion because I have heard mixed reviews. If it is comparable to Assassin's Creed or The Darkness (another of my favorites) then I will definately check it out! Thanks :)

I got Oblivion for the PC today. I am worried I will hate it but it was only twenty bucks. I figured why not? I want to know what it is like so I can understand why people might like it or prefer it to other RPG's I've played.

I heard Assassin's Creed was repetitive and I took one look at the achievements and was like "nope, too tedious". I am not gonna find all the damn flags. I can't stand collector quests. I'm more of a story person than an explorer.

Hope you're hanging in there...I have recently returned to blogging as well (and loving my new job!).

Darkness I was not going anywhere fast when I met her and it was a similar plight for her. I started going somewhere... she never did, wait she did go somewhere, down further.

Freak'in oblivion, you are in love with that game. It is funny to watch you playing -in- the middle of the shit. You forget to breathe.

Airam I have never addressed her before in my blog. My memories of her have all but faded, until that last unplanned finding of each other.

Appletini My Posting is becoming more erratic then it used to be. Yet this is the way it is for me now. I am still plugging away and not letting my blog die... sorta.

Nicole We do not get to have happiness happen to us very often. We usually have to decide to be happy with our choices and ourselves. <---- so much easier said then done, I know. Yet that is all I got. I just gave my last good piece of advice away about making sure you shake before zipping up. That poor bastard.

Kim Morrowind, Oblivion are both made by the same company, The Elder Scrolls series is one of the best gaming environments one could ask for, if you are into RPG(s). I personally hate FF series, to each their own. If you dig it, good for you, if not... well... uh okay then. :)

Aria It is so easy to not post :) Assassin's creed does indeed rock.

Princess
I had an excellent News Years. I spent it home with my honey, with only one kid instead of two. So it rocked. Was yours any good?

I just started Oblivion. I am a level one warrior/mage custom class. I decided to focus on fighting with some magic. I have stomped through the Arena and advanced to Warrior rank or something.

I like how the world lets you talk to everyone and touch everything, no matter how trivial and unimportant it is to the story - just like Ultima. Other similarities to Ultima: it lets you kill NPC's and breaking the law results in guards attacking you. Ultima 5-7 were my favorite RPG's.

Oblivion's leveling system reminds me of WoW and other MMORPG's though in that doing the skill increases it so you have to spend lots of hours increasing each skill. On the upside this makes every moment rewarding because every action you do is improving your character.

I am not too fond of this leveling system because I hate time sinks but I do like how unrestrictive it is. I can wear heavy armor and be a magic user. I can be a thief and a warrior and a wizard and eventually be great at everything. This is totally unfair and unskillful, but arguably very enjoyable because of how unfair it is.

I am not even to the first gate yet because I got distracted in the Imperial City. I plan on leaving the Arena and finishing the main quest though as soon as I play again.

Demon32 said...

Oblivion really has much more to offer then just the main quest, try out the dark brotherhood, or the thieves guild quest, hell fighters guild?

If you think the difficulty is unfair, then here is what you do, increase the dif slider up.

or just level your intelligent based skills... see what happens to all of the enemy AI, they get stronger while you are smarter.
