The world as it is.

z

Funny conversation
My dad "The individual liberties of each person has been trampled on more and more each year"
Me The Demon "I know Americans should have the personal right to decide what they can put into their bodies"

His look was priceless. I was alluding to my belief about use of drugs. He knew it too. Priceless.

Guns
"look at Canada, they have less crime then us" My co-worker states "It is because of hand guns not being allowed"
"well maybe that has to do more with the state affairs of our population then gun control"
"How would people commit crime, if they did not have guns?" My co-worker
"Do you have a lock on your front door?" D23
"Of course I do, what does this have to -" CW
"Who would it keep out?" D23
"uhh people?" CW
"What kind of people?" D23
He stares at me.
"Honest people, it will keep out honest people" D23 "some one looking to break in would not be stopped only slightly deterred"
He stares at me some more
"Is something to do with the defense of your home?" His face contorting into confusion.
"Laws are made for the honest, the illegal is made of the dishonest, who would have the guns, if not the honest?"
"Demon that is not neccesarily accurate"
"Are there still drugs?"
"yeah"
"We spend over 20 billion a year to get rid of em, what do you think will happen with guns?"
He shook his head for a second, but kept hold onto his belief. I was happy enough to shake his foundation.

I wonder if I put this here and then I put this thing over here... will it do something cool?

z

I have been gone for a while (last entry 10/23/07)

I have nothing really to add. I am not sure what to post about. My life is pretty drab as this point. Chloe makes it all the better. She is my little chubby cheek princess. Yet the lack of funds is a nightmare. I need money. Lots of it. Yes need is the keyword.

I know I will bitch about money and our system, Maine has some of the highest tax rates and worst job placement in the country

I have never understood why countries award unproductive behavior, and screw the rich. Yes the rich do get screwed. Yes they hide their wealth and do tax write offs, but wouldn't you if you lost 35% of your gross income and assets every year? I think you would. Yes the rich have to pay a third of their wealth to the American government, that means you have a hundred dollars it just went to 65. That is nuts.

I am not against monetary assistance to the needy, but I do believe in stricter regulations, less over head management and more doers for the system. I find that our welfare system is broken. We reward the negligent and rip apart the people that make money.

I am given a hefty sum of money at the end of the week. I have a hundred and seventy dollars removed by the state and federal.

If I work a day less, I lose a hundred and twenty five You see my point? Why does me making more, mean I make less? I do not understand the situation.

It is almost like my country is telling me to not work hard, because they will cover me if I am a failure. This is a frustrating message we give our countrymen. Make more and you will be held to a higher expectation.

Now before people may think I am against the poor. I am against the poor that do the following

  • Chain smoking (they are on state assistance and have three kids) <--- if this is any of you, I am not changing my opinion. Think of it as you are borrowing mom and dad to eat, do you then spend that money on junk food? You can chain smoke all you want, but a condition to having money from other tax payers should mean no buying smokes. Mind you, I am talking strictly about the unemployed and non-intact family (baby breeding factories, they exist in Maine in large amounts<---get some condoms).
  • Drinking beer, drinking lots of it. <---- as above.
  • Lavish spending at the beginning of each month instead of covering your actual expenses with your state check. While your children walk around in grimy clothing.
Yet the mother who works part time, has a special needs child at home, may smoke and drink now and again, that I can understand. She is trying! Or he is! whoever. People who work and still get some help (very hard to do) they are entitled to less control then the people I talked about above.

I have experienced what I have described first hand, I have known the people I speak of as family members, acquaintances, and case studies (my job)

Our country is in a sad state of affairs, but it could be worse.

Middle class get it in the ass. Mind you I am bending over right now. I make too much money for heating assistance... fuck me.

The power of a lvl 32 sword and loving cartoons is better then being a priest for the purpose of no sex.

I got tagged to do this survey by Kitten.
There are rules: I cannot repeat anything the other survey taker said and I have to list "5 things that I do, did or like that I’m proud of, but that others may think are totally lame". Plus, I get to tag 5 people to do the same.

1. I love image editing. I like taking an original image altering, while keeping most of the realism, minimum touches to paint a different picture. My proudest moment was when I edited the perspective of an umbrella make it was facing the opposite direction, the best (I almost said breast instead of best, don't even ask) part you could barely tell what I did with the picture.

2. I watch cartoons. I dig cartoons, I love cartoons. I usually just put it on the fact that I have a 7 year old. Yet that is simply not true. I would watch sponge bob alone.

3. I am into music that is rarely popular. Some of it is truly offensive and the rest is just outright weird. That does not mean I want to be different or I am against the grain to get noticed (I have been accused of these things and more). I just love really weird music or stuff that you don't hear everyday. While some of it is tame, most of it is not. People find my music out right lame.

4. I am very opinionated. How can that be lame right? Well you ever made an off handed comment without much thought and then that guy in the office rips ya a knew one? yeah that would be me... I have lots of friends... really I do.... they are just all in my head. I have gotten a little better.... really... stop looking at me.

5. I organize my equipment on video games. Yes you heard me correctly. Oblivion is one such game that goes on forever and never ends (sorta does but after beating the main quest, you can do more) anyways. I organize the equipment by house 1st, then per that house by chamber and chests, weapons, potions, misc items, and power weapons and potions and misc items. Oh yeah before I met Jess, I got laid a lot. yeah... I am cool like that. This is ultra lame.
"I have lvl(<--- an abbreviated word for level) 32 sword,
will you have sex with me?" <---- I never actually said this nor did I get laid a lot.

I tag anyone that wants to do this.

Australian PM stands by Obama attack

Australian PM Loves To Touch Himself When Looking At The Guy On The Oatmeal Box

Wow I am glad me insulting the PM of Australia got something done with the shape of the world. I mean insulting party officials is a measure of maturity, control, and a deep respect for your constituents. I know that if I was in office, you the people of any country would love to hear me insult the "other party" I mean after all you are paying me for that... not to fix or assist in my country.

However Obama did handle the issues with care and intellect.

Stating the following:

The Democratic presidential hopeful said if the Australian prime minister was "ginned up to fight the good fight in Iraq," he needs to send another 20,000 Australians to the war.

"Otherwise, it's just a bunch of empty rhetoric," Obama said.

Australia has about 1000 troops in Iraq and many of them are in non-combat roles.

The News

z

Turner Broadcasting ready to pay for Boston sign scare, CEO steps down...

I am sure that bloggers have heard of this incident. I do understand but do not respect the officials involved in this matter.

I understand that mobile devices with electric parts could initiate a incendiary device. Do we start looking at all devices? Where was the city's intel? After the first device was removed, did they not think to involve other personnel in the investigation? Many more questions I wanted answered by our multiple news stations and their 24 hour coverage, however they were to busy speaking of Anna's death, so they could not really do any reporting on questionable behavior of city officials. No conspiracy theory, just liberals being dumb. *Next week is the conservatives turn to be dumb and or outright stupid.

Update (Tuesday):
*Due to the conservatives not waiting their turn... their stupid behavior has been moved up to Tuesdays post... with it still being the beginning of the week... I am sure there will be plenty more retarded happenings in the country, please stay tuned.
